He has an air of confidence and talks with grace. Felt he is confident in his role and he showed empathy whilst addressing my concerns. He picked up my child from the pram himself after asking permission and was very hands on rather then twiddling his thumbs waiting for me to undress him for examination. Helps that he is very tall haha very professional and asset to the NHS. He also asked if I was happy with the outcome which is very important.

Dr Gurprashad has been fantastic with my son and I from the moment we met him. He was extremely supportive when my son had surgery aged 18 months and has continued with the same level of care throughout our annual checkups. He always communicates at an appropriate level with my son and parent alike.

I can honestly say in the years we’ve been seeing different drs and surgeons throughout Arabellas 4 years, I have never come across such a brilliant, caring, trustworthy wonderful dr. We arrived quite early to the appointment as I didn’t know what parking would be like. Normally in the past we have been waiting for hours as drs have ran so behind but he saw us before our appointment which was helpful as Arabella was quite nervous. From the minute he called her name he was straight away on the same level as Arabella and really interacted with her on a child level which made her feel so at ease. He listened to everything I said and after telling me what was wrong with arabella (epigastric hernia) he then followed to explain it in such detail to me (and her) of what it was so I understood it clearly and totally put me at ease that it was not anything to worry about. I have come across a lot of drs who make you feel a little like your being silly or being a typical worrying mum but he really understood my worry’s and he has arranged that we can call any time if we change our mind about repairing the hernia. Very happy patient and mummy :)

A great friendly doctor. Brilliant with my children and spoke to both them and myself throughout the appointments, giving both great explanations and reassurance.
